THCL delivers this Work Ready programme, where we work with local businesses and our three colleges to connect our rangatahi with the full range of career opportunities in Horowhenua.
Get-Go focuses exclusively on practical work-ready pathway activities with colleges and businesses.
We facilitate visits to employers, employer discussion panels, inspiring speakers and interview practice.
Futures Day
Futures Day provided the Year 10’s at our three local Colleges, and their teachers, the opportunity to visit a range of employers, to understand more about the world of work, explore local employment options, and to get work ready.
It was aimed at connecting the students’ learning at school to workplace environments and expectations.
